Hello Stampers

Happy, Happy Sunday.  Lovin’ the sunshine!      Today I am working on the Club Cards for next Saturday.     I am looking forward to welcoming  everyone back.  With this session being held over the summer months, some ladies take a break and others join back up.    I am truly fortunate to have a wonderful and very dedicated 🙂 group of stampers.      There are 6 in the club with room for one more permanent member.     I always keep the 8th chair as a Spare for guests.     If you would like more information on the Club, drop me a line.

Today’s card uses Postage Due.

I first stamped the image with Versamark and embossed it in White embossing powder.    Then I sponged over the image in 3 different colours (Marina Mist, Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit).   You can wipe off the excess colour over the embossed image so it is crisp.   The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes (surprised?) and the bottom of the card is wrapped in baker’s twine.    I clipped the wings off the Antique Brad and used Crystal Effects to glue it in to the centre of the button.

TIP…. make sure your Versamark pad has no colour on it.   Any colour on the pad will affect the colour of the embossed image (ask me how I know!)

Now… doesn’t this card make you think about retirement…. how I wish!    Or how about cycling in the South of France?
