Hi Stampers
I love what I do. A few years ago I approached a local coffee shop with the idea of doing a Stampin’ Up! “Coffee and a Card” at their location. It was a fairly new coffee shop and they were happy to have the new business. 3 years later and we are still going strong. It is something that I only do from April through to September (sometimes October), and it is the last Wednesday of the month.
I am so blessed in many ways. I have a full time job and my boss is OK with me taking a few hours vacation to do this. After the Coffee and a Card, I go back to work. It is a busy day, but it fuels me with everything good imaginable. This event is not just about making cards, it is more about bringing women together, new comers to the community, retired women, non stampers, friends, women who just want to get out of the house. At almost every event, someone in the coffee shop will stop me and comment about the amazing energy coming from the group. They order a coffee, make a card and more importantly they socialize and get to know each other. I just love doing this event.
