Hi Stampers

So… how am I doing with my Challenge this Week of making  5 cards a day?   I am pleased to say that I added 10 cards to my count last night.   Well to be honest… they are not all finished yet :).     I have some final assembly work to do.   The card turned out to be a bit fiddly – especially when you try to make a bunch at once.     But since I prepped 10 cards.. that will be 5 cards for Wednesday and 5 cards for Thursday…. so I am still on track…. right?

Isn’t this darling!   I am going to make a girl version as well.

The Cloudy Day Embossing Folder is retired, but the good news is…. It is on the Clearance Rack.

Item # 127022 – Price: $9.95 $5.99

The Designer Series Paper is also retired, but you could use any small scale DSP…. this is a perfect way to use up scrap paper.     Oh… and the most important part….. the little pants are made with the Owl Builder Punch (I KNOW!)    It is the Vest on the punch.

Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest, dimension, and color to your cards, tags, and scrapbook pages. You can glue punched shapes directly onto your projects or layer a sheet of card stock that has been punched over a coordinating card stock for a reverse effect. In one quick move, our Two-Step Owl punch cuts out all of the pieces you need to build an owl. It couldn’t be easier to create a great accent or focal point: just punch and then layer the pieces.

* Includes an owl body, detailed eyes (not just one circle size but three so you can create dimension), and a small heart
* New, sleeker body style
* Larger surface area offers precise cutting and leverage
* Locks to store

Just snip a notch in the bottom to make the Owl’s vest look like pants.    For the girly version, you won’t need to cut the notch… it will look like a little dress.     I will show that version when I get it done.    It is fiddly though…attaching the straps to the vest/pants with the small brads.   BUT… it is worth it in the end.

Here are some closeup shots of the card.
