Swaps

By | September 2, 2013

Hi friends

You all saw the Easter card that the club made a few months back.   It had dangling eggs on the inside when you opened it up.   I decided to adapt it for Christmas and used it as my swap.   For various reasons, I didn’t get my swaps done until the night before leaving so I only ended up making 15 of them.

I also made a 3-D swap.   The idea behind this swap is the bag is made with 1/3 piece of DSP.  It is all in the folding, there is no cutting, adhesive, etc.   You can use this technique for any small item you want to give as a gift.    I will be teaching the club ladies this technique when we start up again in June.    These bags held some anti-bacterial lotion.    You could use it for small chocolate bars, tic tacs, lip balm, etc.

Aren’t they cute.

I did a count of the stamp sets I will be loosing with the release of the new catalogue.   Ouch!   More will be going up for sale.   The retired list is expected to be out April 24th.  I will post the info as soon as I get it.    Lots happening in the next little while.   Stay tuned.
