This, that, the other and a card………

This: I love this time of year. You can hear the birds singing in the morning, the sun shines through the windows earlier (albeit dirty windows), and everyone is coming out of hibernation. The not so good thing though is you also have to shed the winter clothes. I did so well last year with exercising and toning up. I put back on 8 of those lbs and am not happy with myself. Don’t get me wrong… I am only 127 lbs, but its the lack of tone that is bothering me. I have no excuse – my basement is a mini gym. Treadmill – Elliptical – Bowflex. So I have gotten my butt into gear again.

That: I am ecstatic that I have a firm debanding date. The official date that my braces come off will be June 14th. I go on April 26th to get my permanent retainers placed on the top and bottom. Technically I can get the braces off May 26th, but the Ortho didn’t have a time slot available until June 14th to remove them. I am on the waitlist for a cancellation – so keep your fingers crossed. It has been 25 months so far and at 48 years old…. the novelty has worn off. I am happy with the results thus far.

The Other: And the Other thing I wanted to say was I love this time of year. I want to make the most of the upcoming months. I am relatively shy and have to learn to branch out on my own. Don’t get me wrong… it would be a lot more enjoyable to do things with someone like minded – but I won’t sit around waiting. I really enjoyed hiking last summer and would like to do more of it. Therefore I joined a local hiking group. The first outing is in May and I am looking forward to it

Now for The card.
I know that I already have a card posted using the “Bloomin With Happiness” stamp set, but it is my favourite stamp (currently). I am on the fence with becoming a Demonstrator. I have lots of questions. I’m not very imaginative either – but am hoping that will come with time.
