A Clean Yard – and a bit of a broken heart

By | September 16, 2013
Hi Stampers
As mentioned in my earlier post today – the outside was in desperate need of attention. I am proud to report that 6 bags of yard waste later – the front and back yards have been raked and cleaned up. I must say it is a nice feeling.

I came back in and worked on some cards that were part of an order. I had done cards like these cards before, but this lady wanted them in “purples”.

Card - General

Card – General

Now … about that Broken Heart. Last year I was dating someone who swept me off my feet. It was something I had not experienced in a very long time and everyone thought this was it. Long story short, he met someone else and we went our separate ways. That was 6 months ago. I will admit that it has (and still is) taking me a while to get over it (even at 49 years of age – go figure). Well… he has contacted me to let me know that he moving back to Victoria, BC (from Toronto). Clear on the other side of the country. I should be happy (yes he is moving on his own – the grass is not always greener

Will someone please explain to me why I am sad that he is leaving. I will admit – he will certainly be taking a wee bit of me with him.

Note to self: GET OVER IT!

Thanks for listening (ok… reading)

Beautiful card! And {{{hugs}}}!!! I’m so sorry you have a broken heart! That is never fun, but I think it is only natural that you are saddened by your former love moving far away! 🙁
