Hi Stampers
My girlfriend and I spent the day at the Creative Festival in Toronto. What can I say – I want it all! I had to limit myself though. I did find some Nestabilities and the Swiss Dot Embossing Folder (see picture for the Swiss Dot – had to use it right away). There was also a large display of Sunshine Design stamps. I love her artwork. I picked up this one (again – see card). I am not totally happy with the card, but I wanted to whip something up using the Embossing Folder and the stamp. The image was stamped in Stazon then I used pencil crayons and gamsol to blend the colours. The first card I did, I used SU Markers and tried the No Copic, No Problem technique. It didn’t work out for me – I guess I need to practice more.
Card – Mother’s Day
On a side note, I get to pick my Track for SU Convention on Thursday. I can’t wait. I have my convention ticket, airfare, a tentative hotel and a tentative roomie. I have signed up for some SWAPS on SCS. Too exciting.
