Hello Cupcake Peek-a-boo Card

I know… yes I am using the Hello Cupcake stamp set again.   It is such a fun stamp set and we can always use Birthday Cards.

I was tidying up from making the last card……and this idea came into my head.     I had to stop what I was doing before I lost the thought.    Has that ever happened to you?    This is a peek-a-boo (not official term, but I don’t know what else to call it) card.   Open the card and the icing comes off to reveal the rest of the cupcake inside.

To finish off the card on the inside I added the scallop over the cut out.    The frosting was Fussy Cut and adhered to the outside of the card with some Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

So what do you think?   Isn’t this a cute card?      I love it when an idea in my head translates onto paper 🙂
